Company Profile
After
16 years of using ACT! and eight years of ACT! consulting and training
experience, we decided to create a library of videos to help our clients learn
ACT! at their pace.
Mondo Media's founder, Mark R. Mondo, has been an ACT! Certified Consultant
since 1998, a Premier Trainer since 2005, and we pioneered making our films available on the web for easy
online access in 2003. In 2006, Mondo Media's ACT!
consulting practice merged the ACT!
consulting work with the
The CRM Connection,
one of the largest ACT! consulting firms in North America, and we are founding members of the
CRM Alliance, a national network of CRM
(Customer Relationship Management) consultants.
Mark
began his career working in a software company in 1993 as an inside sales
manager and supporting the reseller channel for a software company that sold
PC-based non-linear editing systems. Mark was responsible for working with
resellers and providing pre-sales technical advice on creating the best
solutions.
Leaving corporate America, Mark utilized ACT! to start a new branch of Multimedia
Programming America, a reseller of specialized PC and MAC non-linear editing workstations for
the video production industry in Atlanta, Georgia. There he used ACT! software
to start a business with zero contacts and landed its largest client, The
Weather Channel, within one year of operation.
Mark founded Mondo Media, in 1997 with the goal of helping others
experience his success of using ACT!.
Mark became an ACT! Certified Consultant (ACC) in 1998.
Mark relocated the business to Chicago in 1999 and built his whole practice
around ACT! consulting and training services.
In 2003, Mark merged his video editing software experience with his training
background to create ACT! Training Videos through a web-browser.
In 2004, Mark co-founded the CRM
Alliance with John
Kaufman, Gay
Chambers and Rich Spitz,
creating a 30 member CRM consultant alliance spanning 22 states across North
America.
In 2006, Mark merged Mondo Media's consulting practice with The
CRM Connection, creating one of
the largest ACT! software consulting practices in North America.
When not playing with ACT!, Mark can be found running several recreational
sports teams including soccer, floor hockey and football. Mark's most notorious
claim to sports fame is playing the first hooker in the inaugural season for the
Loyola University Chicago rugby team.
Mark earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a marketing
focus from Loyola University of Chicago in 1993.
