I have been a programmer for over 36 years in many
different languages. In the past I had downloaded and used the ACT! 6.0 SDK
successfully. Since the advent of the ACT! 2005/2006 SDK I have not been able to
get anything to work, even though in 2002 I took 2 semesters of VB .NET and 1 of
ASP .NET and got a 4.0 grade. At the time it wasn't critical to my business, but
I wanted to try. I could see that some developers were obviously successful in
making the transition. Although most did so with difficulty according to the ACC
newsgroups on the SDK.
Then along came Mark Mondo and Don Egen. What a relief! After my first listen to
the lesson, I knew that I would be able to do something. I then fired up Visual
Studio .NET 2003 and toggled back and forth between Don's explanations and the
program - all worked flawlessly. I was even able to change code and add code and
it worked.

Pre-Requisites
- Programming Knowledge of C# or VB.net
- Comfort with object-oriented programming languages and objected-oriented
frameworks
- Comfort with programming the Windows Forms object-oriented framework
- Comfort with the Visual Studio .NET IDE, particularly the Object Browser
- Windows Media Player version 9.0+
- VGA Monitor set to 1024x768 or greater resolution
- High-speed internet connection - Used to register media
